In today's society, more and more people are conforming to the world and letting the world rule their lives. Students are constantly trying to change things about themselves, their identity, their personality, and even their beliefs to fit in and be accepted by those around them. God wants us to be in the world but not of the world. This year I want to challenge you to take a leap of faith and be transformed. We will be walking through being transformed into the likeness of God. Transforming our habits, our point of view, our mindset.We want to transform our youth group, our community, our schools, and our world to God's will. We will spend time talking about how to do that, and we will take actions steps to put this process of transformation into reality in our everyday lives. We will look at the movie transformers and use some examples from the movie to explain how we are conforming to the world. Instead of conforming We will use the Bible to walk through how we can Transform to be more like Christ. The theme verse will be Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
